Share Your Location
Want to let your friends see where you are on the trail? By sharing your location on Go·OHV, other riders you’ve granted access to can view your position on the Off-Road Park Trail Map—but only when you have the Go·OHV app open.
This guide walks you through how to share your location with other friends and family. The steps are similar to sharing your profile, but with location visibility in mind.
🔐 Privacy Note:
Your location will only be visible when you have the Go·OHV app open and running. You remain in control of who can see it.
📱 Step 1: Open the Go·OHV App or Website
- Start at the Go·OHV homepage:
- Tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-right corner of the screen.
👤 Step 2: Open Your Profile
- From the menu, scroll down and tap your name — then select My Account.
🔄 Step 3: Tap “Profile Sharing”
- On the My Account page, tap the Profile Sharing option.
🧭 Step 4: Add the Rider's Email
- Type in the email address of the rider you want to allow to see your location.
- Then tap the green ADD button.
✅ Step 5: Enable “Share Location”
- In the rider list:
- Set Share Location to YES.
- (Optional) You can also toggle Allow Purchase if you want the same rider to buy passes for you.
🎯 You’re All Set!
- As long as you have the Go·OHV app open, your selected riders will be able to see your location on the trail map. Close the app, and your location will disappear automatically.
- To see your friends and family in return, they’ll need to follow the same steps and share their location with you.
- To see your Minor on the Go-OHV app, contact help@goohv.com to request your Minor location to be sharable.
